Electronics — GPS computers, power meters, smartwatches — are either already owned or tied to a specific brand and app ecosystem that’s hard to guess right from the outside. None of this is a knock on those things, just an honest reason they miss more often as a surprise than somewhere to put the gear does.

Occasions: Christmas, Father’s Day, birthdays, a first race
